Celebrating 20 years in the industry, Something For Kate played the first of their 3 night birthday party at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre.

Things of Stone and Wood

Melbourne’s own Things of Stone and Wood returned to the stage for the first of 3 sold out shows at the Northcote Social Club and kept the place pumping until 1am on Saturday night. 

Gentle Persuasion

“Like a high school reunion but with people you like” seemed an appropriate description for the crowd who assembled to give Gentle Persuasion a huge welcome back to the stage after a 20 year absence in their support slot for Things of Stone and Wood at the Northcote Social Club. 

Deep Sea Arcade

Opening up for Temples, Sydney’s Deep Sea Arcade kick off proceedings bathed in light and saw to it that the Corner Hotel was itself bathed in their brand of swirling psychadelic pop. 


The surviving members of HTRK, Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang, took to the Hi Fi to launch their latest offering, Psychic 9-5 Club.


Melbourne rapper Illy kicked off his National Cinematic tour in his home town of Melbourne. Friday saw the first of a two night stint at The Hi-Fi, and the local boy didn’t disappoint.

Coming off a huge 2013, Sydney 3 piece Jagwar Ma showed no signs of slowing down with a stellar performance at Melbourne’s Hi Fi.

As one of the few reality show contestants to actually push on and forge a career beyond a first single, Guy Sebastian showed why when opening for Taylor Swift at Etihad Stadium. A polished, high energy set that delivered to those who entered the venue  rather than queueing for merchandise.

For those who managed to defeat the Melbourne traffic, Perth lads Birds of Tokyo opened up proceedings for Muse at Rod Laver Arena.

Capping off a night of tribute metal at the Espy, Australia’s own Anthrax tribute show Among The Living tore up the stage in front of a dedicated crowd.

Damage Inc (Metallica Tribute)

Sydney based Metallica tribute Damage Inc made the trek down on the train to play the Espy’s famous Gershwin Room.
